Ads & Monetization Policy

QA Genie Studio operates on a freemium model to ensure my generation services remain sustainable. Some features require watching a rewarded advertisement, and CORE (free) users may see limited native or interstitial placements.

1. Advertising SDKs & Networks

Ads are served through the Appodeal SDK (in-app bidding and mediation) and, while the migration to Appodeal is completed, the Unity LevelPlay mediation SDK. Mediated networks include Unity Ads, InMobi, AppLovin, Mintegral, BidMachine, and other Appodeal exchange/reseller partners.

Where required by law (EEA/UK GDPR and US state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA), consent is collected through our consent management platform (a Google-certified UMP / IAB TCF v2 CMP provided via Appodeal). This produces a valid consent string that accompanies ad requests and controls whether you receive personalized or non-personalized ads.

2. Rewarded Ads (Opt-In)

CORE tier users may unlock additional generation and export capacity by watching rewarded video ads.

• Ads are user-initiated only — you choose when to watch an ad
• A transaction token is generated upon ad completion and sent to my backend for verification
• Ad completion is verified server-side using a cryptographically random transaction token
• Attempting to spoof ad completion or bypass ad requirements violates my Terms of Service and may result in account suspension

3. Data & Ad Networks

By watching an ad or viewing an in-app placement, Appodeal and its mediated networks may collect:

• Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID)
• Device information
• IP address
• App interaction data
• Consent status / consent string (TCF v2 in the EEA/UK; US-Privacy in regulated US states)

These identifiers are processed per Appodeal's Privacy Policy and each network's own policies. You can opt out of ad personalization via Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization, or change your consent choices in Account → Policies & Consents.

4. Ad-Free Pro Tier

PRO tier users experience no ads (no rewarded, native, or interstitial placements) and bypass all ad-supported limitations. PRO status is managed via internal subscription verification logic. If you believe your PRO status is not correctly applied, please contact me through the app's Support → Report an Issue.

5. Ad Placements

The ad formats used are:

• Rewarded video — triggered only by your explicit action to unlock additional capacity
• Native ads — displayed non-intrusively on the test suites screen and bug-report form, clearly labeled as advertisements where applicable
• Interstitial — shown sparingly to CORE (free, non-Pro) users at natural breaks (e.g., once every few visits to the Workspace tab), never in the middle of a workflow action

We do not serve:

• No pop-ups
• No auto-playing ads with sound without interaction
• No dangerously misleading or deceptive ad placements
• No ads that interfere with your core workflow actions

6. Ad Integrity

Ad completion is verified server-side using a cryptographically random transaction token. Attempting to spoof ad completion or bypass ad requirements violates my Terms of Service and may result in account suspension.

7. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar US state laws, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. QA Genie Studio does not sell your personal information. Advertising identifiers collected by Appodeal and its mediated networks may be used to deliver and measure ads, which may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising.

When required in your region, the app shows a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control in Account → Policies & Consents, powered by our consent management platform. It lets you opt out of such sharing at any time. You can also disable ad personalization via Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization, and you can use the App without ever personalizing ads.
